2.6.26 Fireside without the Flames
Our Fireside Without the Flames event was a heartwarming evening filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful community connection. Residents had the opportunity to learn important fire safety tips and gain insight into the incredible work our local firefighting heroes do to keep us safe. We were thrilled to welcome the Bexar County ESD #10 Station #3 firefighters, who took time to connect with residents, showcase their firefighting tools aboard their firetruck, and even join in on some fun yard games.
Guests enjoyed gathering around our cozy (and flame-free!) “campfire” for story time, where we read In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek—a perfect addition to an evening centered on connection and care. A delicious s’mores bar, generously sponsored by Mundo Verde Landscaping & Irrigation, added a sweet touch to the night. To wrap things up, everyone left with a wooden campfire keepsake to paint at home and remember the evening.
It was a wonderful night of community, learning, and togetherness—all while staying safe and flame-free. A heartfelt thank you to our local firefighting heroes for making this event so special and memorable for our residents! ❤️
